Nitrogen in our cylinders

Vins Ripoll has devised a new system with the aim of improving.

This wine dispensing system is 100% sustainable, as we manage to completely eliminate all the waste involved in the sale of wine in terms of boxes, bottles, stoppers, plastics and other elements related to packaging. In addition, it is patented throughout Spain, ensuring its originality and commitment to sustainable innovation.

We bottle the wine in 19-litre stainless steel cylinders, which can be reused indefinitely and we preserve the wine with nitrogen, completely avoiding oxidation.

Nitrogen is an inert gas that does not pollute, in fact, it is extracted from the air we breathe. The atmosphere is composed of 78% nitrogen and only 21% oxygen and small amounts of other gases.

As we dispense the wine with the handle, the nitrogen enters the empty space of the bottle without mixing with the wine, so it does not alter the taste or aromas of its bouquet.

The presentation of the wine puller can be adapted to the customer’s taste; it can be by means of T-shaped taps, coming out of a wine barrel or from the wall itself.

In addition to wine, we also store vermouth with soda in these stainless steel cylinders, preserving its properties and ensuring an authentic experience with every serving.

The machines we install are coil-type coolers, which have a thermostat that allows the temperature of the wine to be programmed, so that the glasses will come out at the ideally programmed temperature.

Aesthetics

Possibility of three presentation formats of the wine puller system:

· 3 T-shaped taps:
One for red wine, one for white wine and one for rosé.

· Outlets of the taps from barrels:
The sizes of the barrels are according to the convenience of the space provided by the cruise ship.

· Exit of 3 taps:
From the support wall of the restaurant buffet itself.

STORAGE EFFICIENCY
Each pallet can store up to 36 cylinders of 19 litres each, giving a total of 684 litres of wine, optimising space on the cruise ship and reducing the need for frequent replenishment.

WASTE REDUCTION
By eliminating bottles and packaging, our system contributes fully to waste reduction on board, aligning with cruise lines’ sustainability policies.

CONSISTENT QUALITY
Nitrogen preservation and temperature control ensure that each glass is served in optimum condition, enhancing the passenger experience.

Installation and maintenance

INSTALLATION
Vins Ripoll will be in charge of all the installation or installations of the cruise ship and will be responsible for the assembly and maintenance of each and every one of the machines that are installed on the boat, maintaining and guaranteeing a constant quality.

The assembly time per machine, once it has been decided where they will be installed, is approximately one hour. The only thing to take into account is to leave enough space to place it. See measurements on the last page.

MAINTENANCE
The maintenance, cleaning and servicing of the machines will also be carried out by Vins Ripoll. In addition, a spare machine can always be left in reserve, in case it should fail during a trip, in order to be able to maintain customer service.
